05 / Recognition
Selected recognition, with its sources.
Seven of the thirteen below link to the organisation that published the result. The remaining six are awards whose organisers never published a winners list, or took it down, and each one says so on its face rather than sitting silently beside the ones that did.

Faces of a Vibrant Economy
Grant Thornton
One of a hundred leaders named across the third year of the campaign. Grant Thornton ran it on its own microsite, which has since been retired: the Internet Archive holds a record of the address it kept for him, reached through Grant Thornton's own 2018 campaign link, but the page itself was never captured. That evidences the page existed rather than what it said, so this stands as his own account.
The address on Grant Thornton's own site, in the Internet Archive
Innovation Entrepreneur of the Year
Great British Entrepreneur Awards
A regional win rather than the national award, which is how it is described here. The awards' 2018 regional results page is no longer served and the surviving alumni page does not name him, so there is nothing live to link to. His 2017 shortlisting at the same awards is separately sourced above.

Special Recognition Award
High Sheriff of Greater Manchester
The High Sheriff launched the Special Recognition Awards in May 2020 for contributions to the county during the pandemic, and this was given on 5 July that year. The award programme is a matter of public record; the recipient list is not published.

Seal of Excellence for VCode
European Commission
Awarded to the VCode technology for anti-counterfeiting and end-to-end supply chain traceability. The Commission's Seal of Excellence is a quality mark for a proposal assessed above threshold, not a grant or a funding award. Stated by Louis-James Davis in an article he wrote for CEO Today in April 2018, so it is his account rather than the Commission's.
Stated in his own article, CEO Today, 17 April 2018
