Forty-five patent families, filed since 2016.

Forty of them are pending applications, filed through the companies on the corporate record and in Louis-James Davis's own name. Every filing is listed with its application number, its applicant, its status and a link to its own entry on the public register, so the position can be read off the register rather than off this page.

Later filings by Alipay, iCrypto, In-Idt and China Life Insurance cite the earlier work as prior art. A citation means a later applicant or examiner found the earlier disclosure relevant to whether their own invention was new. It is not infringement, licensing or any continuing right.

Each one is argued properly in an essay rather than asserted here. Written from inside the systems rather than about them, and to the published titles and general mechanism of the filings, never beyond what is already on the record.

Stronger assurance without collecting more.

Most identity systems buy confidence by holding more data about more people, and every additional record is a new liability for the citizen and a new target for an attacker. The work here starts from the opposite constraint: prove what has to be proved, disclose as little as the proof requires, and keep no record that is not needed to keep the promise made.
