Verifying a Confrmo Ledger record by dropping in its VCode

How I connected the VCode decoder to the Confrmo Ledger verify page, so a record can be checked by dropping in its image.

What I tried

The Confrmo Ledger verify page was designed to accept a VCode image as well as a typed code. The page was ready and the server side needed connecting.

Why I chose differently

The ledger needed the decoder wired in. It also needed to look records up by what a decoded image actually carries.

What I chose

I connected the two and routed the ledger and the phone scanner through one shared decode service. I proved it against the live decoder with the sample record's own image. Dropping it on the page returns "Verified by Confrmo".

How it helped my other work

VCode decoding now serves Confrmo through one shared call, used by both the Ledger and the phone scanner.

The principle

Exercise every promise a page makes end to end. A finished front end tells you nothing about the back end.
