Verus Louis-James Davis

A white paper for turning idle hardware into Verus Relays

I wrote and published the Verus Relay white paper: which boxes can run a relay, how to convert one, the full specification and measured results.

What I tried

People with an old Helium hotspot or a spare computer wanted to know what it could do for Verus. The answer was spread across code, tests and notes.

Why I chose differently

I chose to put it in one document that a host, a builder or a partner can act on, with every figure taken from a logged test.

What I chose

The white paper sets out the three jobs a relay does, what a relay can and cannot see, which boxes work and what they cost, a four-step conversion that can be undone and the full specification with the encryption. It closes with two logged round-the-world runs, the second across ten cities, every lap delivered. It is free to download from the Verus Relay story.

The principle

Measure before you claim, then write the document someone needs in order to act.
