The websites Louis-James Davis

Every patent number links to its official record

Every pending application on louisjamesdavis.com and verusapp.co.uk now links to its public record on the UK IPO register, including the newest Verus filing.

What I tried

A new application gets its number on the day of filing, but its public record on the register appears a few days later.

Why I chose differently

A link to a record that does not exist yet is worse than a plain number, so each number is listed first and linked only once its record can be seen.

What I chose

Seventeen filings from September now link through, each checked against the register for title, applicant and date before its link went on. That includes GB2622942.7, Selecting a relay for a call in a communication network, filed by Verus on 30 September. One filing date was corrected to the register's own.

The principle

Let readers check every claim for themselves. Only point them at what is already there.
