Evidence

Do not take the claim. Take the source.

The technology on this site exists because a claim and a proof are different things. It would be a poor advertisement for that idea if the site itself asked to be believed. So every substantive claim here falls into one of four classes, and each one is marked wherever it appears.

The four classes

Register

Public record

A statutory or official register: Companies House, the UK Intellectual Property Office, the Charity Commission. Anyone can look the entry up and it does not depend on this site being truthful.

Published

Independent publication

Something an organisation with no connection to Louis-James Davis chose to publish: a news report, an awards result, a broadcast interview. Every entry links to the original rather than to a copy of it.

Product

Product evidence

Software that is deployed and can be used or inspected: a live platform, a public verification page, a running API. The claim is checkable by using the thing.

Stated

Founder statement

A claim by Louis-James Davis that cannot reasonably be published by anybody else: commercial discussions under agreement, work in progress, personal history. It is marked as his statement wherever it appears, and it is never dressed as a source.

The fourth class is the one that matters. A founder statement is not worthless, and a site that carried none would be a site that had left out everything commercially confidential and everything personal. It is simply a weaker kind of thing than a register entry, and a reader is entitled to be told which they are looking at rather than left to work it out.

Where each class is used

Claim Class Where it can be checked
Companies, numbers, statuses, appointments Register The Companies House register, linked per row at Companies and ventures. Statuses are reproduced in the register's own words.
Patent applications, applicants, titles, statuses Register The UK Intellectual Property Office register and Espacenet, linked per filing at Patents. Titles are as filed, not paraphrased. Counts on this site are computed from that list, never typed.
The Darwin, trusteeship Register The Charity Commission Register of Charities, entry 1190692.
Awards, ambassadorships, media coverage Published Each one links to the organisation or publication that announced it, at Press and in Recognition on the homepage. Seven of the thirteen recognition entries link to a published result; the rest are marked as statements rather than dropped or dressed up.
What the platforms do Product Live software. Confrmo, VCode, LunaNet AI, Solidus, Veridium Carbon and Hire One Vet each have a public site; the identity behind this one is checkable at louisjamesdavis.confrmo.com.
Biography before 2014, the autism diagnosis, commercial discussions in progress Stated Nowhere but here. These are his own statements about his own life and work, and are written as such. The biography carries a record block at its foot listing only the claims somebody else published.

The rules this site is edited by

A number is never typed twice

The patent family and pending counts on the homepage, in the page descriptions, in the biographies and in the structured data are all computed from one list of filings. They were hardcoded until August 2026 and the homepage had already fallen a filing behind the patents page, which is exactly the drift a figure that prominent cannot afford.

Coverage is a dated row, not a wall of marks

The masthead wall on the homepage is a list of publications that have covered this work over a decade. It is not a per-logo claim and nothing on it should be read as an endorsement. The claim is the archive underneath it: 60 pieces of coverage across 44 publications and broadcasters, each with a date, a link to the original, and a word for what the relationship actually was. Where an outlet's specific article has been catalogued its mark links straight to it. Anything not in the archive is not being claimed as anything.

Pending is never written as patented

The word "patented" does not appear on this site. Every filing is described as an application and carries the status the register gives it, with a link to that entry. A venture description that used "patented" was corrected in August 2026 because it contradicted the patents page one scroll away.

An inconvenient fact is stated once, plainly, and not repeated

The five earlier published families are not in force and the patents page says so. Where a company's register status is not "Active", the companies page prints the register's own word for it. Neither is dwelt on, and neither is left for a reader to discover in a way that makes it a story.

A source outside this ecosystem, or no source

A press release, a syndicated copy of one, or a re-upload of a broadcast on a company channel is the subject talking. None of them appears in the coverage archive. The value of a link there is that somebody else chose to publish it.

Where a fact cannot be established, the site says so

Six of the recognition entries have no published result to link to and are marked as founder statements, including one whose claim sits inside an article Louis-James Davis wrote himself, which is his word in somebody else's magazine rather than somebody else's finding, and one where the awarding body's own page for him is recorded by the Internet Archive but its contents were never captured. The Zimbabwe appointment is written as "reported to have been appointed", because the Zimbabwean press covered it and no ministry release or gazette entry has been found. Softening any of those would cost more than it saved.

Found something wrong?

If a figure here does not match a register, or a link goes somewhere it should not, that is worth an email to hello@louisjamesdavis.com. Corrections are made to the source data, which means they propagate to every page that quotes the figure rather than to the one page somebody happened to notice.
